Brief:
Google Chat is an intelligent and secure communication and collaboration program that is specifically developed for teams. It is a component of Google Workspace, which also includes Google Drive. Chat makes it easy to do work wherever a conversation is taking place by facilitating everything from ad hoc messaging to cooperation on topic-based workstreams.
The software facilitates team collaboration by providing features such as direct messaging, smart replies, search functionality, and many more. These features are designed to let teams interact in a fluid and effective manner from any location. Users have the ability to build chat rooms for their teams, as well as the ability to speak with others both within and outside of their organizations.

Tips:
The most recent update to the Hangouts app is called Google Chat, and it brings it a lot of new capabilities for facilitating group conversations and coordinating work. Now, Google Chat has taken the place of the original Hangouts app for users of Workspace, and the Hangouts app itself has been withdrawn from the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store.
Review:
I recently made the switch from Google Hangouts to Google Chat, and let me tell you, they are not the same thing. To begin, I am unable to disable the dark mode, which, in my opinion, is both superfluous and quite frustrating. The darkness on my screen is something that I do not enjoy, but I suppose that it is something that I will have to become accustomed to.
Second, while you are chatting with someone, both your text and their text will appear on the same side of the conversation, which makes it more difficult to determine when they said what they said and what they said it.
Third, the process of sending films and photographs requires a significant amount of time. The loading procedure takes a significant amount of time; as a result, there is a break in the flow of your conversation, which makes it unclear why you aren’t answering.
The PC version is excellent, but the mobile adaptation just isn’t cutting it for me. I’d much rather use the desktop version. I have big plans for this app, but given how things have been going so far, it’s going to take a lot of practice to become used to using it. It’s not that I don’t appreciate the different functions that have been added — believe me, I do — but overall, the experience is just not the same.
